Claudia Schmidt and Sally Rogers

Over three decades, these two strong women of the folk world have become deep friends, united by a sense of social justice, humanity and harmony (both kinds). They perform solo and in a duet with guitar, dulcimer and old-time banjo. Claudia's genre-defying musical activities include jazz and acting while Sally stays in the folk and old time categories with a recent award-winning excursion into children's music. Each has appeared several times on A Prairie Home Companion as well as other radio shows. Hearing them live is an experience hard to capture in these few lines.
