Thanksgiving, and Pat Kane's Irish immigrant family gather on the farm to celebrate the old-fashioned way. But this year, they bring their Saturday night country house party out in public, to share their songs, dances, poetry, sing-a-longs and stories. We'll finish the night with a jam session, so bring your instruments along and we'll play that last hour, by ear, so to speak. The Balladeer of the Southern Tier, Pat has twice sung his way to 1st place at the NYC Fleadh Cheoil. He has many recordings and an Irish radio show in Elmira. On fiddle, guitar and bodhran, he plays jigs, reels, square dances and ballads, as well as originals written in the tradition. His talented family and friends will join us for an unforgettable holiday reunion.
