In their part of the northeastern United States, fans associate bluegrass music with one band: North Fork. For almost 25 years, this outstanding band has entertained at festivals, concerts, parties, bars, coffeeehouses, supermarkets, wineries, weddings and fairs throughout the Pennsylvania and New York State region. During their career, North Fork has shared bluegrass festival billing with Del McCoury, Nickel Creek, Peter Rowan, Charlie Waller and the Country Gentlemen as well as John Hartford, Ralph Stanley, Jerry Douglas, Rhonda Vincent Blue Highway, Mountain Heart and many other nationally known bands. North Fork has performed as the opening act for stage concerts by the Osborne Brothers, the original Hot Rize, and Lonesome River Band. Bluegrass Unlimited called North Fork one of the best bands in the country without a major record label. North Fork is currently working on their 8th recording project which will be on the Second Fret Records label. Their last CD, Einstein The Genius, which was released in mid 2003, was a hit with North Fork fans.

Original members Rick Dale, banjo & vocals; Tom Hoover, guitar & vocals and Bob Rubin, mandolin & harmony, have been a part of this tightly knit band since it's inception in 1980. North Fork is renowned for distinctive harmonies and tasteful arrangements of diverse material. Now joined by bassist, John O'Donnell, North Fork continues to bring bluegrass music to life. With the addition of Jeff Wisor on fiddle and harmony, North Fork can't be beat. Whether performing originals, traditional favorites, or contemporary numbers, North Fork gets to the heart of what bluegrass music is all about. Visit them at: www.secondfret.com/north.htm
